Permissions Post: Fictional Recognition

Ultron quoted Disney, it's a fictional thing he can reference in his world.

Elaborating on that, there's a lot of RL fiction he could potentially pull from during RP.

I'm going to say that will obviously exclude Marvel, which is treated as truly part of his world, it is his world; and also try to exclude things related to Marvel, like things relating to Marvel adaptations that would involve actors, i.e. things like Blacklist with the real James Spader, Scarlett Johansson movies, etc., would not really exist in his original MCU world. If things like that are accidentally referenced, handwave it off--maybe another actor was used, maybe just a very strange resemblance, maybe it's something no one actually notices.

Anyway, please comment here if you're cool with Ultron recognizing your character as fictional in his 'verse; or if you have any questions. Otherwise--except for Disney probably since that's kinda canon to the MCU--I can assume Ultron won't recognize your character as fictional in his 'verse.

I'm thinking that the cardgame could exist as it does in reality, but I'd rather not have the series fiction be known fact :0 It's not too hard to handwave Masumi's 'Duel Monsters' still being known as 'Yu-Gi-Oh' cards after all (what with the name literally meaning 'king of games', Masumi wouldn't make the connective jump from 'card game is more mundane' to 'i'm an anime???' )

Definitely means she'll be open to meta jokes re: the ridiculousness of cards being as important as they are so hahah

So cardgame Duel Monsters/Yu-Gi-Oh would be like Poker and Go Fish in Ultron's world? Just a cardgame with probably no known TV show spin-offs?

Ehh, more just like 'yugioh's cardgame half is IRL really :0 A trading card game with a particular following (like Magic the Gathering has, really) But yea a cardgame with no known tv shows hehe

Hawke is kind of going though knowing she's a player character. It's part of her AU that yeah she's part of a video game. (And an AI from another video game is messing with other games because he is grumpy.)

So the Dragon Age series - and Hawke - can be seen as fictional. If you need to ask me about it, you totally can.

Ralph here is completely aware that he's a video game character, so it's totally cool if he's recognized as such!

He isn't aware of the movie that details the original Ralph's adventures, but that's okay by me to be mentioned as well.

Yeah, he definitely could use a hand with putting everything together! Did you have anything in particular in mind that you wanted to do with it?

I think Ultron would be up for constructing machinery for something like a death trap obstacle course. Also, I think he'd be up for trying to construct drones for a test run sparring/part of the obstacle course/etc.

Sounds great to me! Drones "for part of the course" would be perfect and something that Ralph definitely couldn't build on his own. Same goes for more complex machinery, he can put together simple things like walls and such, but anything more than that is beyond his abilities.
